FO: Adapted Picovoli Jumper

by katie on February 1, 2006

Yarn: Jo Sharp Silkroad DK tweed (Paper Rose and Magnolia) – does Jo Sharp exist any more? :(
Pattern:Picovoli by Grumperina
Notes: I extended the sleeves so that they were 3/4 instead of cap. I did this by decreasing 2 stitches on every 12th row until there were 42 stitches left. Then i finished the sleeves with a picot edging to match the other edges.

I’m pretty happy with this jumper. The colour and feel of the yarn is great, and the fit works well. It’s maybe a little short, but then i’m likely to layer it with a vest underneath, and i’m still in the process of working out what is a good length of jumper for me. (After years of wearing too long jumpers in high school, and looking like a sack of spuds. – ah how i miss the early 90′s so…)
