So when I got back from our holiday - look what was waiting for me?
A package from Kelli!
How cool is that?
Also included was a big bar of chocolate (which i snarfed) and a mix cd which is on top of the stereo, having been played quite a bit over the last week or so.
Thank you Kelli! What a lovely suprise!
(And now she has to be patient, because though her package is in the mail, it had to go surface so is going to take a few more weeks than I’d like. :( But it’ll be worth the wait. :)

*Sticks head around the door*
I’m back!
I’ve had my second interview!
I am so behind on lots of things but I have the weekend to catch up. And see my sister. *crosses fingers* And pet poor W who has a cold. And take lots of photos. And get my Backtack and Nectar Lounge parcels sorted.
*makes long to do list*
So obviously, last night - despite everything - I start the Frost Flowers and Leaves shawl in the above yarn. It’s lovely to be knitting lace again, and to have multiple projects on the go.
That said I need to knuckle down and get my sister’s jumper finished. With a 2 year old and 4 year old on the holiday with us, not a lot of knitting was done. We played, and sniffed alot of flowers instead.
More later… including alot more photos! But I’m back. :)
Right, I’m off to France for a week with the W. While I’m away I’m hoping to teach my friend J how to knit.
I shall return with pictures of my new yarn and the skirt i made, plus hopefully a slight tan, some wine, and lots of good memories.
Have fun!
ps. Thanks for the supportive comments about my interview. It’s slow but I’ve got a second interview for the same job at the end of the week we come back. *crosses fingers*
