FB has been waking up at 5am for the last few weeks due to a combination of ‘I can move around now, so much to do!’, lots of open windows, a loud dawn chorus, and very bright early mornings.
Luckily his parents are morning people, on the whole.
That said, I was pretty bleary eyed when we started watching sunday night’s tv coverage very early on monday morning.
(My favourite performances from this year? Pendulum, and The Prodigy – who were as fresh and amazing as I remember them being at the Phoenix and Reading Festivals in 1996 But I was also impressed that Blur were back at their fighting weights.)

I was a Phoenix 1996!! Best festival I’ve ever been to. :-D
How exciting that he is pulling himself up and having the sense to be interested in Glasto. I thought the Prodigy looked fantastic and would have been amazing to see them although I imagine the crowd was insane…
