Summer at Hinksey Pool

Hinksey Pool has been my happy place this summer. There is just something so special about swimming surrounded by trees, with the clouds above you.

FB happily crawls around at the very shallow edge, and wins all ours races.

I always come out of the water feeling well used, and alive.

lara September 3, 2009 at 8:58 pm: I feel the same about outdoor pools – nothing beats it. Hurrah for happy places. And very pleased Wynn is splashing happily in the shallows – bit different when we took him to Cowley Pool.
