Good luck with the deadline and thanks for the lovely photos of Oxford in the snow. I'm living in France now but we lived for years in Oxford and I love your tales of trips to the allotments and other places I remember.

My New Year's Resolutions are to stop lurking and to say thank you to all you bloggers who spend time and effort writing things I enjoy reading and to try and find the french equivalent of a soda stream and to use my breadmaker more. I had a soda stream in England and used it purely for making tap water fizzy. Now I'm buying the stuff in bottles I am horrified by number of bottles I have to recycle. Admittedly I've used them to make Halloween and christmas decorations and I'm experimenting with making pots to keep craft supplies in but even so I'd feel happier with a soda stream. They sell them in Tesco's, Sainsbury's and Argos but not in Carrefour!

Looking forward to reading you again in Febuary. Look after that throat. And THANK YOU - I really enjoy the blog.
